Ph.D. Track: Technology and Ethics

As Director of User Experience and Product Design and Kerauno Chris Vaulter supports a cross functional team of researchers, designers, content strategists and product manager to create data driven business communication tools. In his role he conducts rigorous, human centered research using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to inform strategic product execution and best practice development.

Chris Vaulter received has an B.Ed. in Design and Technology Education from Exeter University, England and his M.Sc. in Human Computer Interaction from IUPUI. He is currently a part-time student on IUPUI’s PhD program in American Studies.

He is a Board Member and Program Committee Chair for Tech Point Youth Foundation, focused on creating innovative STEM education opportunities for underserved youth across Indiana. He currently teaches an Introduction to UX Research and Design workshop at the Eleven Fifty Academy in Indianapolis.  He has experience teaching design and technology courses at both High School and College.

Focusing on ethical approaches to technology design and product development, his primary research interest is in digital culture and the impact of cyber life on the future of social engagement.
