Mark Pike currently serves as an adjunct professor of history and a member of the student success staff at Ivy Tech Community College of Central Indiana. He completed an M.A. in History at Cleveland State University in 2018. Since then, he has held positions in both secondary and higher education. His time as an educator influenced his passion to improve the student experience.
Mark is currently conducting research on the challenges that students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds face within the higher education space. The research also involves understanding the resources available to students at various institutions, the institutional requirements for students to receive these resources, and a broader analysis of education policy in Indiana.
